Total Consumption StepDescription

The FEPS total consumption module is based on the Fire Emissions Production Simulator (FEPS).

Notes:

Piled and scattered fuels are specified as zero.

Woody fuel is defined as the sum of the 1hr, 10hr, 100hr, 1khr, 10khr, and gt10khr fuels.

The canopy flag is set to 1 for all fire types by the module.

Data fields used: 

fuel_moisture_1khr, fccs_number (if FCCS fuel loading is ued), mduff (duff fuel moisture), fuel_1hr, fuel_10hr, fuel_100hr, fuel_1khr, fuel_10khr,fuel_gt10khr, canopy, shrub, grass, rot, litter, duff
